We have been busy since 1.9.13! The following cores have been added: Mailbox emulation as it is only takes effect in fullscreen mode. The next version might have a setting to allow you to disable mailbox emulation entirely. Emulating mailbox is pretty nasty to begin with and should be considered a hack.
